Job Description
Provides support for end-to-end engineering solutions for DISN projects. Provides support for the planning and implementation of solutions across multiple technologies and platforms in the DISN and provide end-to-end integrated solutions ensuring mission success. Supports technical planning, analysis, engineering, and testing for DISN initiatives and make technical recommendations.
Provides top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex systems analysis. Provides support for the planning and implementation of solutions across multiple technologies and platforms in the DISN. Performs circuit analysis and provide end-to-end integrated technical solutions.
Support and provide design packages that include topology drawings, equipment listings, circuit analysis, and network traffic analysis. Identifies, assesses, and presents options and recommendations for meeting functional and technical requirements. Utilizes MetaSolv Solution (MSS), replacement for Network Change and Configuration Management (NCCM), and other DISA processes and supported databases. Provides transport technical solutions for generating and issuing Telecommunications Service Orders (TSOs), and Telecommunications Service Requests (TSRs). Utilizes DISA systems and tools to include DISA Storefront (DSF), World-Wide Online Support System (WWOLS), DISA Implementation Information Exchange (IIex), and Air Force Telecommunications Certifications Office Support System (TCOSS). Develops Implementation Requests (IRs) and Bill of Materials (BOMs) documentation for equipment installations as required. Interacts with project management to plan project schedules and provide technical direction. Supports mission partners to satisfy interoperability requirements. Provides Tier support at various levels. Instruct, direct, and check the work of other task personnel.
