🔧 Position: Test Technician II

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a skilled Test Technician II to support aerospace and defense testing operations in Clearwater, FL. This role is responsible for performing automated system-level testing, troubleshooting issues, documenting results, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before reaching the customer.

✈️ Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform automated system-level testing by following detailed written procedures

✅ Accurately document test events, failures, and results in data books and e-factory systems

✅ Conduct test setup and teardown of equipment and cables

✅ Test multiple product lines and work across various programs

✅ Operate computers, software applications, tools, and office equipment as needed

✅ Review technical data and identify anomalies to prevent defects from reaching customers

✅ Distinguish between system, station, and software-related issues

✅ Follow established work instructions, procedures, and quality standards

✅ Support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

✅ Collaborate with Test Team members and Engineering Support personnel

✅ Work autonomously while maintaining safety and quality requirements
✅ Required Qualifications
Must Have:

• Active Security Clearance
• Minimum 2 years of Aerospace or related industry experience
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Minimum 2 years of electronic testing experience
• Experience performing automated testing using detailed written instructions
• Ability to review technical data and identify anomalies
• Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft PowerPoint

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electronics
• Knowledge of Guidance & Navigation Electronics
• Previous experience testing aerospace electronics
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
