Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary: • Provide system administration and infrastructure support for large-scale Linux and Windows environments. • Configure and maintain compute, network, and storage resources while automating operations with Bash, Python, Ansible, and SaltStack. • Manage virtualized environments with VMware, deploy containerized systems using Docker and Kubernetes, and monitor operations using Splunk and Nagios. Qualifications & Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 15+ years • Total Compensation: $248k+ yearly Job Description: • Provide comprehensive support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of large-scale IT systems. • Manage the daily configuration, operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for compute, network, memory, and storage system components. • Configure and manage Linux and Windows operating systems, installing COTS/GOTS/FOSS software and implementing OS enhancements to maximize reliability and performance. • Maintain system security integrity and configure network components to ensure robust operations. • Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning. • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration. • Automate operational tasks and deployment pipelines using modern automation and containerization technologies.
