The Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office (PMW 790) is acquiring support services in the areas of production systems engineering, logistics, installation management, and integration/planning/requirements services for the architecture, integration, acquisition, and support of multiple shore and expeditionary Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) programs. PMW 790's mission is to acquire, integrate, deliver, and support interoperable shore-based C4I capabilities for the warfighter. PMW 790’s vision is to be the preeminent provider of integrated shore-based transformational Network Centric Warfare capabilities to the warfighter by providing assured connectivity between tactical forces and higher commands. The overarching goal is to ensure C4I systems programmed for installation on Navy ships have matching shore facilities of appropriate capacity to support Fleet deployments worldwide. Our goal is to migrate the shore sites and their terrestrial interconnections into a coherent, scalable, network-centric communications and multiplexing fabric designed to optimize functionality by effecting improvements that both satisfy current shortfalls and, wherever possible, provide the building blocks for future C4I architecture.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Logistician provides senior-level Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, management, and technical expertise directly supporting the PMW 790 Assistant Project Manager for Logistics (APM-L) across a diverse portfolio of tactical network and command-and-control systems. This position leads logistics coordination throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle, including logistics documentation, technical data management, configuration changes, spares planning, readiness metrics, lifecycle support, risk management, Integrated Master Schedule inputs, and ILS certification activities. The Senior Logistician serves as a key liaison among the Program Office, ISEAs, IPTs, and other stakeholders to ensure logistics requirements, risks, and sustainment considerations are effectively integrated into program planning and execution. The role also supports the development of innovative sustainment strategies, including the application of Model-Based Product Support, artificial intelligence, and commercial best practices to improve long-term system readiness, availability, and supportability on the PMW 790 Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office Planning and Logistics Support Services contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $105,000. – $115,000. What You'll Do
- Serve as Logistics Support for the Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 790) for: Naval Modular Automated Communications System (NAVMACS), Command and Control Office Information Exchange (C2OIX), Shore Tactical Assured Command and Control (STACC), Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2), Joint MILSATCOM Network Integrated (JMINI), Integrated Waveform (IW), Expeditionary, Maritime Operations Center (MOC), and Telephony.
- Provide lead Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning and management. Prepare and develop logistics briefs and facilitate ILS Working group meetings.
- Review Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) in CMPro for NAVMACS, C2OIX, STACC, DJC2, JMINI/IW, Expeditionary, MOC and Telephony projects and ensure logistics impacts are included in the ECRs. Provides information to the APM-L as needed/requested for APM-L IMS voting.
- Assist with the development, update, and/or cancellation of nomenclatures for PMW 790 projects.
- Provide support as a PMW 790 Technical Manual Maintenance Activity (TMMA), requesting Technical Manual Identification Number (TMIN) and National Stock Number (NSN).
- Review publications such as: Users’ Logistics Support Summaries (ULSS), System Administrator Manual (SAM), System User Manual (SUM), Recommended Standard Operating Support (RSOP), Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM), and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Plan.
- Review and update Program Support Data (PSD) Sheets for NAVMACS, DJC2, Expeditionary, Telephony and STACC in support of OPNAV spares policy for annual spares funding requirements.
- Participate as needed in completing BAM process (PSDs, Buy List, Presentation and all related forms) and defense of spares money for PMW 790 projects.
- Serve as PMW-790 Logistics functional team lead during program Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings. Ensure all ILS impacts are communicated to the APM-L, ISEA logistics leads, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate ILS Working Groups and Life Cycle Product Support and Sustainment meetings.
- Provide ILS inputs for the Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings for: NAVMACS, C2OIX, STACC, DJC2, JMINI/IW, Expeditionary, MOC and Telephony.
- Serve as the ILS acquisition, technical, and managerial lead providing necessary ILS requirements for the design, development, integration, implementation and evolution of all assigned programs and initiatives.
- Identify and manage risks for assigned programs.
- Provide information and oversight for the Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs). Monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, this includes Technical Refresh, ILS assigned baselines and tasks. Provide inputs to the scheduler as required. Identify program logistics risks, and mitigate risks with solutions.
- Keep information updated and tracked for all projects in the Platform Readiness Review (PRR)on weekly basis.
- Interact with the ISEAs to ensure End of Life/End of Support (EOL) is tracked for all PMW 790 projects.
- Review and provide input as needed for the Shore Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certs – all PMW 790 projects.
- Model—Based Product Support (MBPS) roles: Configuration Technical Data Manager (CTDM), Data Consumer (DC), Technical Manual Manager Agent (TMMA), and Technical Data manager (TDM).
- Work with the ISEAs to get trouble tickets information to track and report Readiness, Maintainability, Availability (RMA) - Readiness metrics reporting for all projects.
- Ensure all data calls are completed as required.
- Research and develop new sustainment strategies for the successful implementation of future technologies (e.g., AI) and the application of commercial best practices in product support. AI to perform tasks typically associated with logistics tasks such as: documentation and NTSPs to achieve defined goals.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
- HS Diploma required.
- Five (5) years of experience as a Logistician working with the Department of the Navy or comparable Government Agencies.
- Three (3) years’ experience directly supporting a program management office (PMO) or similar organization.
- Proficiencies supporting databases such as: PSD Automated Reporting and Tracking System (PARTS), Model Based Product System (MBPS),SYSCOM/PEO Integrated Data Environment and Repository (SPIDER), SPAWAR Acquisition and Logistics Repository (SAILOR), Human Analysis and Requirements Planning System (HARPS), CMPro, and other databases used in the performance of assigned logistics tasks.
- Experience in Key ILS and life cycle support areas includes: Maintenance Planning & Management, Supply Support, Support Equipment, Manpower & Personnel, Training & Training Support, Technical Data, Computer Resources, Packaging Handling Storage &Transportation (PHS&T), and Facilities & Infrastructure.
- Experience in developing, reviewing and evaluating logistical documentation such as:
Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Maintenance Plans, Navy Training Systems Plans (NTSP), Program Support Data (PSD) sheets
Obsolescence management planning reports, Item Unique Identification (IUID) Implementation Plan and other logistics documentation as required. - Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Must possess strong time management skills.

- Travel Required 10% travel required.
