WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking Employment Coaches to support the FL National Guard Employment Support Program (FLESP).
The Employment Coach provides non-personal employment support services to unemployed National Guard and reserve component service members, their spouses, and veterans across an assigned region of Florida under the FLESP "Work for Warriors" initiative. The Employment Coach delivers case management, employer outreach, and job placement support to help clients secure employment, education, or apprenticeship opportunities.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Weekend support may be required to align with Guard and Reserve drill weekends. To keep total hours at 40 per week, weekend work will be balanced with adjusted weekday schedules.
This position is contingent on contract award.

WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking Employment Coaches to support the FL National Guard Employment Support Program (FLESP).
The Employment Coach provides non-personal employment support services to unemployed National Guard and reserve component service members, their spouses, and veterans across an assigned region of Florida under the FLESP "Work for Warriors" initiative. - Conduct comprehensive career assessments to identify the client’s individual strengths, skills, and aspirations.
- Assist clients in setting and refining their short- and long-term career goals.
- Provide personalized guidance on resume writing, cover letter creation, and job search strategies.
- Develop and deliver workshops or training sessions on relevant career development topics.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by identifying skill gaps and recommending appropriate development opportunities.
- Guide employees through career transitions, including promotions, lateral moves, and changes in professional focus.
- Facilitate mock interviews to enhance interview skills and confidence.
- Collaborate with the HR team to align career development initiatives with overall talent management strategies.
- Stay familiar with industry trends and labor market dynamics to provide up-to-date career advice.
- Offer support in negotiating job offers, promotions, and other career-related opportunities.

Work Environment:
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of four years of experience in employment services programs, personnel management, or human resources.
Strong understanding of career development and counseling techniques.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with various job markets and industries and knowledge of local and national job markets.
Proficiency in career counseling techniques and use of career assessment tools and resources.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Previous experience in career counseling or employment coaching.
- Experience organizing and conducting workshops or seminars.
Strong network of industry contacts and employers.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Empathy and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.
Knowledge of job search strategies and resume building.
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain company liability insurance through a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
