ServiceNow Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Application Developer to support the operation, maintenance, and continued development of enterprise learning technologies and applications within a mission-focused environment.

The program provides the technologies and services necessary for training providers to engage the workforce, deliver learning solutions, and support data-driven business decisions. The broader mission is to create an integrated learning enterprise that efficiently delivers high-quality learning capabilities to the workforce.

What will you do?

• Provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support for existing ServiceNow applications and the current ServiceNow instance.
• Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and capabilities based on customer and organizational requirements.
• Create, configure, and modify ServiceNow workflows, catalog items, and record producers.
• Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow portals.
• Develop and maintain notifications, scheduled/daily reports, and other reporting capabilities.
• Create and modify Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) based on customer requirements.
• Develop ServiceNow functionality using JavaScript.
• Manage and improve workflow processes within ServiceNow.
• Support development activities within an Agile software development environment.
• Track technical issues, development activities, and project requirements using JIRA.
• Support integration and development activities involving web application APIs.
• Work with relational databases and data technologies, including MySQL.
• Support applications or capabilities involving PHP scripting as required.
• Assist with systems installation and configuration activities involving Windows Server environments.
• Incorporate applicable information security (InfoSec) policies and requirements into technical and requirements documentation.

Do you have what it takes?

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• BS degree and 11-15 years of prior relevant experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow and workflow process management.
• Experience providing O&M support for ServiceNow applications and instances.
• Experience developing new applications and capabilities within ServiceNow.
• Experience creating and modifying:
  • Workflows
  • Catalog Items
  • Record Producers
  • Business Rules
  • UI Policies
  • Client Scripts
  • Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Knowledge of developing and using ServiceNow Portals.
• Experience developing ServiceNow notifications and reports.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for ServiceNow development.
• Familiarity with MySQL.
• Familiarity with PHP scripting.
• Experience developing software or applications within an Agile environment.
• Experience tracking issues and development activities using JIRA.
• Familiarity with Windows Server installation and configuration support.
• Familiarity with developing or integrating web application APIs.
• Familiarity with incorporating InfoSec policies into requirements documentation
