Fully Remote Business Data Analyst (Access Control Integrator)
Are you an experienced and talented Business Data Analyst who’s looking for a remote opportunity on an exciting Federal contract? We are assisting a key client in filling the role of Business Data Analyst with a start date of October 1st. Responsibilities:
• Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, document, and maintain business, functional, and technical requirements to support ICAM services.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Onboarding: Serve as the primary liaison between application owners, technical teams, and project stakeholders to drive smooth application onboarding and system integration efforts.
• Access Control & Governance: Design, maintain, and document role-based access control (RBAC) models, access policies, role definitions, and governance frameworks across enterprise applications.
• Integration & Workflow Architecture: Define precise access requirements, approval workflows, business logic, and connector specifications necessary for seamless application integrations.
• Technical Documentation: Author high-quality process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, presentations, and core project deliverables.
• Identity Governance & Compliance: Lead and support identity governance initiatives, access certification processes, compliance reviews, and broader access management operations.
• System Implementation & Testing: Partner closely with engineering and software development teams throughout implementation, testing, validation, and deployment phases.
• Modernization & Process Improvement: Champion system modernization, strategic initiatives, and process optimization through data-driven business analysis and requirements engineering.
• Communication & Reporting: Produce accurate, timely reports and deliver clear, structured technical communications tailored to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Successful candidates will have:
• Clearance: Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
• Domain Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, business analysis, identity governance and access management (IGAM), or systems integration.
• DoD Standards & Security: Deep familiarity with the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA), DoD enterprise identity initiatives, Zero Trust architecture, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
• Technical & Architecture Tools: Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools (e.g., MEGA HOPEX or similar) and advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Technical Documentation: Demonstrated expertise drafting comprehensive process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, access control matrices, and functional specifications.
Highly successful candidates will also possess:
• Identity & Access Governance: Experience driving access governance, role engineering, entitlement management, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis within enterprise identity programs.
• IGA Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience configuring or supporting Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms, such as Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) or comparable IAM solutions.
• Application Onboarding & Integration: Proven track record onboarding applications into enterprise IAM/ICAM systems, including defining application access models, connector requirements, and technical integration specifications.
• Compliance & Access Certification: Direct experience supporting periodic access certification, entitlement reviews, audit readiness, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
• DoD Architecture & Modernization: Solid working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise identity initiatives, Zero Trust principles, security frameworks, and legacy-to-modern system transformations.
Compensation commensurate with experience; Salaries quoted are with full benefits. Rates for 1099s without benefits higher.
