What We Need AWS Professional Services is looking for an Engagement Manager who can lead complex cloud projects from planning through execution. You'll own project outcomes end-to-end, align technical solutions with customer goals, build high-performing teams, and drive strategic relationships across AWS, partners, and Department of Defense customers. What We Do We plan, execute, and deliver large-scale AWS cloud initiatives for DoD/DoW customers. Key job responsibilities - Own and lead large, complex engagements end-to-end, delivering business outcomes independently with limited guidance - Redirect distressed programs to successful outcomes; deal effectively with ambiguity and the unexpected - Apply multiple delivery frameworks (Agile, Scaled Agile, Waterfall, ITIL) to build comprehensive plans across multi-workstream engagements - Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements and executable roadmaps using AWS frameworks (Well-Architected, Cloud Adoption Framework) - Validate technical solutions against mission objectives; lead architectural reviews and manage technical risk - Maximize engagement value by negotiating conditions of acceptance, amending scope, financials, and timelines as needed - Communicate effectively across diverse audiences (product, legal, finance, operations, partners, customers) and drive stakeholder alignment - Influence AWS service team roadmaps, ProServe offerings, and organizational metrics - Accelerate progress by creating or optimizing cross-team processes; establish operational excellence standards and reusable mechanisms About the team About the team AWS values diverse experiences. Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent experience - 5+ years of program or engagement management work leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects experience - 1+ years of working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner across multiple cross-functional teams experience - 3+ years of cloud computing experience - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI or above

Preferred Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
