Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Engineer, Senior to support our Air Force Strategic Programs (AFSP). This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area has to be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in AFSP.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

- Define the Requirements and Verification Baseline
- Develop Specification and Interface Control Documents
- Support development of program technical baseline, ground and flight test planning, and design reviews
- Participate in value driven Systems Engineering team and drive design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way
- Work closely with the internal and external counterpart to develop, test and field a strategic system
The successful Candidate will:
- Be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to Start; US Citizenship required
- Meet all the Basic Qualifications
- Have at least 3 years' of applicable work experience
- Able and willing to work On-Site Full-Time from the King of Prussia, PA campus

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Systems Engineering, or related technical field experience with knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering field to identify technical product characteristics and con-op to develop requirements specifications
- Demonstrated ability to develop and decompose complex system architectures
- Writing requirements documentation and coordinating release through approval process
- DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
- Must be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance to Start (No Clearance required to Apply); US Citizenship required
- Must obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
- Script modification and development, preferably with DOORS
- Experience with DOORS, ePDM and change processes
- Experienced in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) with Cameo Systems Modeler to develop, analyze, and validate complex system architectures.
- Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to other internal/external teams
- Familiarity with program and design review process (SRR, PDR, CDR, FRR, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience coordinating with multiple key partners
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
- Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
- Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
