Bachelor’s degree and four years of related office experience, or seven years of related office experience and associates degree, or 10 years related office experience and high school diploma.
Performed work at previous grade for at least six months.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage other tasks authorized by Government Task Manager that fall within the scope of this task order.
Team leader and/or Trainer experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Mentors and monitors all assigned personnel working on applications throughout each stage of COM processing.
- Performs Group Trainer responsibilities as assigned.
- Efficiently transfers application data into the ASIV Unit’s web-based case management
- system, including accurately transcribing names, application dates, and employment information for review by ASIV case workers, achieving a processing rate of at least 8-16 cases per day when core work responsibility is only case data entry.
- Identifies data-entry errors and discrepancies; recommends corrections and takes remedial action when possible.
- Analyzes information submitted by the applicant for evidence of previous applications for Chief of Mission (COM) approval, including previous approvals, non-approvals, or revocations, and flags such prior applications. Assesses if new information provided overcomes previous grounds for nonapproval.
- Analyzes cases and makes recommendations for COM approval or nonapproval. Mentors and provides regular feedback for new employees working on applications at the verification and/or data-entry stages of COM processing.
- Uses Microsoft Outlook to monitor a shared office inbox, appropriately flagging messages for further action by ASIV personnel. Sends document verification requests to employers via Dynamics 365, achieving a processing rate of at least 8-16 cases per day when core work responsibility is only verifications. Reviews and analyzes responses received to ensure accuracy and completeness and follows up as needed.
- Validates employer data by checking points of contact and email addresses against the Supplemental Information Lists in the Power BI dashboards.
- Compiles statistical data for unit quarterly and annual reports.
- Analyzes information/data to make sound decisions.
- Processes and analyzes multiple data sources across standard operating procedures and regulations to provide a complete package of information.
- Uses information to identify trends and create reports, spreadsheets, briefing slides, etc.
- Identifies ways to successfully streamline processes.
- Generates weekly statistics, spreadsheets, and various reports.
- Provides cultural analysis and strategic support.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
