Senior Software Developer, Systems Software
Full Time | Arlington, VA | Secret Clearance required
SteelGate LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support a secure, Drupal based collaboration environment used by critical infrastructure and cybersecurity partners. This role focuses on platform enhancements, module development, performance optimization, and integration of mission driven capabilities. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Drupal architecture and thrives in environments where reliability, security, and scalability are essential.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
• Minimum of eight years of experience in web or platform development
• Minimum of three years developing and managing Drupal based platforms
• Experience with secure platform design in SBU/FOUO environments
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform stabilization
• Experience supporting incident response and corrective action workflows
Certifications: Active Drupal certification or Government approved equivalent (required)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Drupal architecture, module development, and configuration
• Secure platform design within SBU/FOUO environments
• API integration and content management frameworks
• Platform performance optimization and scalability
