Remote - Top Secret OR DHS Cleared Salesforce Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Salesforce Developer to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This position is fully remote. This is an opportunity supporting a federal modernization initiative focused on improving mission-critical Salesforce applications and digital services. The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and enhance Salesforce applications and integrations supporting DHS mission outcomes.

Responsibilities for the Salesforce Developer include:

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow Builder, and Lightning App Builder.

• Refactor legacy Salesforce applications and data models to leverage standard objects, out-of-the-box functionality, and platform best practices.

• Administer Salesforce security and access controls, including profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, public groups, and record-level security.

• Evaluate Salesforce seasonal releases, assess impacts to existing solutions, and recommend adoption of new capabilities such as Agentforce.

• Develop and support integrations utilizing Salesforce REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware solutions, and external systems.

• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams, architects, product owners, and government stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.

• Support source-driven development, Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps best practices.

Qualifications for the Salesforce Developer include:

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience supporting complex enterprise applications.

• Hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Visualforce, and Salesforce platform development.

• Experience designing and implementing solutions utilizing Agentforce, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning App Builder, Flow Builder, and Salesforce automation tools.

• Experience supporting Agile software development, DevSecOps processes, Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline

• Experience working in a federal environment preffered

Compensation for the Salesforce Developer includes:

• Salary Range: $145,000
