Job Description
MANTECH seeks a highly motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a fully remote position.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing Engineering support to the PMW 640 Logistics and Sustainment Lead and other customers in support of combat systems development and integration of the Ships Self Defense System (SSDS) on US Navy Aircraft Carriers and Amphibious ships.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing Engineering support to the PMW 640 Logistics and Sustainment Lead and other customers in support of combat systems development and integration of the Ships Self Defense System (SSDS) on US Navy Aircraft Carriers and Amphibious ships.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop/update/maintain SSDS & IWS 80 Integrated Product Support program plans and documentation (Lifecycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Harvest plan, etc)
- Develop/update Integrated Product Support (IPS)-related agendas, presentations, schedules
- Monitor and report CASREP part support status
- Attend briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the IWS 80 IPS Principal Assistant Program Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 0+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Professional or educational experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active-duty Navy experience with SSDS ships
- Prior experience supporting Navy Combat Systems program office
Clearance Requirements:
- Must hold an active or current Secret Security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information
