Job Description

Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a ServiceNow Demand Manager to support KABS and our government customer in Washington, DC. The position is hybrid, requires 1 day onsite. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a ServiceNow Demand Manager to support the Digital Workplace workforce by managing intake, triage, prioritization, governance, and portfolio visibility for ServiceNow demand. This role ensures new requests are understood, assessed, sequenced, and routed through the appropriate delivery and approval processes. Work will be performed at the client's facility or customer approved remote locations during Eastern Time core business hours.

The ServiceNow Demand Manager will manage demand intake and prioritization for ServiceNow enhancements, products, workflows, and platform changes.

Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Manage intake channels, demand records, prioritization criteria, review cadence, and governance workflows for ServiceNow work.
  • Facilitate demand clarification with requestors, product owners, architects, cybersecurity, operations, and delivery teams.
  • Assess demand for mission value, urgency, complexity, dependencies, readiness, resource needs, and delivery risk.
  • Maintain demand pipeline reporting, status visibility, decision records, approvals, and backlog transition artifacts.
  • Support portfolio planning, roadmap inputs, capacity discussions, and executive reporting.
  • Identify duplicate, conflicting, low-value, or high-risk requests and recommend practical disposition.


Education and Experience:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand management, portfolio coordination, business analysis, product operations, or IT governance.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms, ITSM, Agile delivery, or workflow modernization.


Desired:
  • Experience with ServiceNow SPM, Demand Management, ITBM/SPM, ITIL, Agile, or portfolio management practices.
  • Experience supporting federal governance, intake, or prioritization processes.


Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong intake management, prioritization, stakeholder facilitation, governance, reporting, and decision tracking skills.
  • Ability to evaluate demand using business value, operational urgency, feasibility, compliance, and delivery capacity criteria.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, product backlogs, platform delivery, and release planning.
  • Strong written communication and executive-ready status reporting skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.


Desired Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience with roadmap management, capacity planning, benefit realization, and service portfolio governance.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and ServiceNow reporting.
