Job Description

Summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking an experienced and mission-focused Security Control Center Supervisor to support security operations for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is responsible for supervising Security Control Center personnel, monitoring security events and incidents, and coordinating emergency response activities that support the protection of MDA personnel, facilities, assets, and operations.
  • The ideal candidate is a security professional with strong leadership, incident management, and emergency response experience. This role offers the opportunity to support critical national defense missions, lead security operations personnel, and contribute to the safety, security, and operational readiness of the MDA enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and operational oversight for Security Control Center personnel and activities.
  • Monitor and assess natural and manmade incidents, emergencies, and security-related events affecting MDA personnel, facilities, and assets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency communications with Security Operations Center personnel, government stakeholders, and host installations.
  • Conduct initial assessments of incidents and ensure timely communication with leadership and response personnel.
  • Coordinate emergency notifications, response actions, and incident reporting activities.
  • Support the integration and execution of emergency management procedures, security protocols, and response plans.
  • Maintain situational awareness and provide operational updates to leadership during security incidents and emergency events.
  • Support Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning and implementation activities as required .
  • Serve as a liaison between security operations personnel and MDA leadership during emergency and continuity operations.
  • Develop recommendations that improve security awareness, emergency preparedness, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure personnel remain trained and prepared to execute security and emergency response responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Security , Law Enforcement, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related operational environments; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a security, law enforcement, military, or related organization.
  • Experience supporting security operations, emergency response, incident management, or continuity programs.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and apply written policies, procedures, instructions, and training materials.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, or federal government security programs.
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Security Control Center (SCC), or command center environment.
  • Experience supporting emergency management, crisis response, or continuity of operations programs.
  • Experience monitoring electronic security systems, alarms, and incident management platforms.
  • Professional certifications related to security operations, emergency management, or physical security.

  • Knowledge of security operations, emergency response procedures, and incident management practices.
  • Strong leadership, team-building , and personnel management skills.
  • Ability to assess incidents, analyze information, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong situational awareness and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with government officials, security personnel, and emergency responders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to operational excellence, customer service, and mission success.
