Systems Engineer (VDI)
Contract type: Contract to Hire
Salary: 175k max
Location: Remote - 10% travel to client sites in Newington, VA - need to be local to DMV
Clearance: TS/SCI
Interview Process: 4 steps. Manager, HR, executive, Presentation
Zachary Piper Solutions are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support a mission critical Department of Defense (DOD) customer. An understanding of PowerShell scripting and automation and familiarity with image as code solutions. Experience performing pre-production testing and validation of VDI image updates in McLean, VA
Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer include:
· Checking VDI health and monitoring dashboards
· Running PowerShell monitoring tasks
· Deploying validated updates to production VDI environments
Qualifications for the Field Training & Support Engineer include:
· Strong PowerShell, VDI, and automation knowledge.
· Experience with image as Code solutions and performing pre-production testing and validation of VDI image updates
· Familiarity with DISA STIGs and the Omnissa Horizon hosted on vSphere
Compensation for the Field Training & Support Engineer include:
· Compensation: $160,000 to $175,000
