Introduction

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of experience with overall engine function, with at least 5 years in the engine cold section (Fan and Compressor).
- 5 years of experience in supporting requirements definition, verification, and validation related to gas-turbine engine architecture and design.
- 5 years of experience in supporting gas-turbine engine certification and qualification activities.
- 5 years of experience demonstrating knowledge of design criteria, practices, and guidelines for engine cold section, focusing on mechanical and structural requirements.
- 3 years of experience leading a Fan and Compressor team and collaborating with other functional groups to develop new design criteria and guidelines.
- 3 years of experience with testing, validation, and verification of Fans and Compressors.
- 3 years of customer-facing support experience, including communication and presentation skills.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
- Familiarity with military and FAA standards related to engine cold section.
- Experience in conducting structural and mechanical analyses of components and sub-assemblies.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Investigate and identify opportunities for tailoring engine component design requirements.
- Conduct literature search and propose alignment of component design methods to regulatory compliance.
- Conduct impact analysis of tailoring design criteria and demonstrate testing and validation methods.
- Summarize findings from literature and regulatory review and perform preliminary impact analysis.
