Payroll Assistant 3 - Irving, TX
6 month contract, ~$28/hr BOE
Position is for an aerospace/defense client. United States citizenship is required. E xperience supporting large companies at enterprise level is strongly preferred.
The Payroll Assistant 3 supports accurate and timely payroll processing for each payroll process and providing responsive customer support within established service-level agreements (SLAs). This role contributes to departmental goals through updating and validating record each payroll cycle.
Task & Responsibilities:
• Sector Support for:
• Processing and validating supplemental pay request
• Processing and validating out of cycle pay request
• Respond to inquiries from customers (internal & external) within SLA
• Perform assigned project duties to support the departmental goals and objectives
Role & Responsibilities:
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers within required SLAs.
• Perform assigned project duties to support system enhancements, process improvements, and departmental objectives.
• Special processing for adjustments, or off-cycle items in alignment with policy and compliance requirements.
• Required Qualifications -
• High school diploma or equivalent & 1 years of related education, i.e.: business or accounting and/or relevant work experience .
• Working knowledge of payroll fundamentals and data validation practices.
• Proficiency in payroll/HR systems.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to meet SLAs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
• Accuracy, data integrity, and strong follow-through
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize recurring and urgent requests
• Discretion in handling confidential employee and payroll data
• Willing to work a Hybrid schedule
• Preferred Qualifications -
• SAP experience
• Prior experience working in a shared service or center of excellence environment
