Work You'll Do

As a Project Delivery PROJECT - Security Engineer II on the project, you will:
  • Technology Risk Research: Conduct targeted research on materiel, hardware components, and software utilized in Army systems. Evaluate the overarching risk to critical technologies.
  • Vulnerability & Threat Analysis: Identify specific vulnerabilities within proposed technologies. Analyze adversarial attack vectors and assess how foreign threats target DoD systems.
  • BOM Analysis: Deconstruct and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) for complex systems. Identify risky, compromised, or counterfeit components within the technical supply chain.
  • Systems Contextualization: Apply a deep understanding of Army weapons platforms and tactical systems. Translate abstract technical vulnerabilities into concrete operational risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Entity analysts to fuse technical vulnerabilities with corporate risk. Work closely with government engineers to align threat data with system requirements.

Helps manage and protect dynamic attack surfaces and provides rapid crisis and cyber incident response, ensuring clients can be ready for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to work onsite up to four days a week in Arlington, VA.
  • 4+ years of professional experience within the following:
    • In classified intelligence analysis, DoD or IC cyber threat research, or technical/cyber analysis in a classified environment.
    • Technical Acumen: Strong background in evaluating hardware, software, and critical technologies with a strong preference for intelligence systems or weapons experience. Candidates must understand technical supply chains, BOMs, and cyber-physical attack vectors.
    • Domain Knowledge: Solid familiarity with DoD systems, weapons platforms, and the defense acquisition lifecycle. Experience with the IC is highly desirable.
    • Tradecraft: Proven ability to apply Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and All-Source methodologies to technical problem sets. Experience with Technical Intelligence or classified Cyber Threat Intelligence is highly desired.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,600- $147,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
