This position is responsible for verifying authorized personnel, controlling site access, escorting individuals requiring supervision, and monitoring construction activities for compliance with established security requirements.

Creek Technologies is seeking a Journeyman Secure Construction Site Escort to support security operations at a controlled government construction site. This position is responsible for verifying authorized personnel, controlling site access, escorting individuals requiring supervision, and monitoring construction activities for compliance with established security requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Verify personnel against the approved Entry Authority List (EAL) and confirm identity using government-issued photo identification.
- Escort personnel who are not authorized for unescorted access and maintain continuous line-of-sight while on site.
- Ensure escorted personnel only access areas necessary to perform assigned work.
- Monitor construction, electrical, mechanical, and maintenance activities for suspicious or unauthorized behavior.
- Inspect hand-carried items and enforce restrictions on prohibited or unauthorized items.
- Oversee facility entry procedures and ensure personnel properly complete daily visitor sign-in and sign-out requirements.
- Maintain situational awareness and recognize activities inconsistent with authorized construction work.
- Immediately report suspicious activity, security concerns, or violations to the Site Security Manager (SSM).
- Follow all government, customer, and site security policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in security, construction site security, access control, military, law enforcement, construction, or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction or maintenance activities sufficient to recognize unusual or suspicious activity.
- Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain alert and maintain continuous observation for extended periods.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and required Special Access Program (SAP) access.
- Must meet applicable U.S. Government security eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a security escort or supporting secure government construction environments.
- Familiarity with Entry Authority Lists (EALs), visitor control, access procedures, and physical security requirements.
- Current or previously held Secret or higher-level security clearance
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Additional education, military training, technical training, or security-related training preferred.
