Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an AI/ML Developer to support a large-scale healthcare technology program focused on enhancing a marketplace platform for healthcare claims, enrollment, and document processing workflows. This position is Remote and supports EST business hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). The AI/ML Developer will design, develop, and maintain AI-powered document processing pipelines that transform high-volume unstructured documents into structured business data. Responsibilities for the AI/ML Developer include:
- Design and build AI-powered document ingestion and processing pipelines using AWS cloud services.
- Process and classify high-volume unstructured documents across multiple formats including PDFs, DOCX files, emails, and scanned documents.
- Develop data extraction capabilities using LLMs, OCR technologies, and rules-based processing to generate structured business data.
- Build and maintain RESTful services and event-driven backend systems supporting document processing workflows.
- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, accuracy, scalability, throughput, and operational costs.
Required Qualifications for the AI/ML Developer include:
- 5+ years of experience developing RESTful services and event-driven backend applications in AWS environments.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock or comparable large language model platforms
- Expeirence with Python and AWS services including S3, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, ECR, IAM, KMS, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with document and text processing technologies, including OCR tools such as Textract, Tesseract, or similar platforms.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to obtain a CMS T4 Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree
Compensation for the AI/ML Developer includes:
- Compensation: $120,000-150,000 **Depending on experience**
