PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Stress Analysis Engineer, in Fort Worth, TX. Job ID#225224
Job Description:
Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.) Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgment on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained. Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyses the results.
Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software NASTRAN/Patran. Familiarity and experience with other FEA tools such as FEMAP, other pre/post processor software, as well as knowledge of MIL-HDBK-5 is also required. Candidate must have working knowledge/experience with Computer Aided Design software tool CATIA V5/3DX (preferred). Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.
