QSSHire is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, clean, analyze, and interpret complex datasets that support informed decision-making. This role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights through data analysis, recurring reporting, and visual dashboards. You'll leverage SQL, Excel, Python, and data visualization tools to identify trends, maintain reliable data systems, and communicate findings in a clear and actionable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
In This Role, You'll:
• Collect and analyze raw data from primary and secondary sources.
• Clean, validate, and filter datasets to identify and correct errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
• Design, build, and maintain reliable databases and data systems.
• Analyze data patterns, trends, and relationships to identify actionable insights.
• Develop recurring reports that support business and operational decision-making.
• Create interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Use SQL, Excel, and Python to query, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reporting and analysis activities.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear information for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with customers and team members to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
You'll Succeed Here If You Have:
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required to start.
• Five (5) or more years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency with SQL for querying and analyzing data.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Python for data analysis, manipulation, or automation.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience collecting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing complex datasets.
• Understanding of databases, data structures, and data quality practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex data and technical findings into clear, understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with large or complex datasets.
• Experience developing automated or recurring reporting solutions.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience developing executive-level dashboards and data visualizations.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation.
• Experience identifying trends, patterns, and performance metrics from operational data.
• Experience working directly with customers to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
Degree Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
