The Work
The Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion (A-RCI) Submarine Sonar program is seeking a full-time, highly motivated System Integrator to serve as a Platform Integration Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating and testing complex systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications, performance standards, and needs of the sailor. You will be part of the testing and certification process, ensuring that developed products meet requirements and intended use on-board the submarine. This role may require dockside support for installing new capabilities as well as some at sea testing support. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with hands-on leadership to align goals, manage schedules, drive process excellence, and foster a high-performing collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and drive timely completion of Feature and Bug work, ensuring proper status tracking, testing, and verification.
- Provide practical solutions to a broad spectrum of complex technical problems, ensuring they align with program objectives and constraints.
- Influence program strategy by providing input on objectives, contributing to roadmap discussions, and driving alignment with senior program leadership.
- Collaborate with Test Execution Lead to understand new/updated requirements and updates test cases appropriately.
- Collaborate with EPMs to coordinate schedule and logistics for borrowing and returning production hardware.
- Support formal test events such as External Interface Test (EIT), System Level Test (SLT), SW Certification Demo, Production HW Sell Off, System Operability Test (SOP)
- Participate in project readiness review meetings to support milestone deliveries.
- Build media, install development and production bays, and conduct basic build checkouts after kits are installed.
- Own and be responsible for all aspects of the submarine sonar system; understand of all functions of Sonar and other subsystem such as Tactical Control (TC) and Navigation.
- Understand lab/tactical hardware and network configurations. Support setup of lab/tactical hardware Configurations.
- Utilize test equipment and SIM/STIM to develop and excute test plans and procedures to verify system performance and functionality.
- Analyze test data to verify system performance and functionality.
- Participate in feature integration; understand submarine platform nuances.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field) from an accredited institution with 5+ years of related experience; or comparable experience in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated experience in systems engineering and/or integration/test, with proven problem-solving abilities to developtechnical solutions for large-scale, complex projects.
- Demonstrated leadership experience across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with submarine combat systems or similar Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) systems.
- Experience working on teams in a geographically dispersed and virtual environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders witha high degree of technical and interpersonal competency.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; this position will require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills
- Experience (or strong familiarity) with ARCI architecture & infrastructure including operating string operations, displays, and/or network infrastructure (switches).
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence products, including experience with agile project planning, issue tracking,and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and principles.
- Knowledge of system and software architecture concepts, such as containerization and cloud technologies.
- Self Motivated with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of technical and interpersonal competency.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
