Position Title : Applications Programmer Level III
Position Location : Full-time, Primarily remote, from the Systems Plus office in Rockville, Maryland, or from another approved location, with virtual meetings and occasional onsite activities at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland, as required.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain model-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse and Power Automate.
- Configure application forms, views, validation rules, workflow routing, notifications, and status tracking.
- Develop and support integrations with approved federal systems using APIs or custom connectors.
- Support Power BI reports and dashboards using Dataverse and other approved data sources.
- Test applications, incorporate user feedback, deploy updates, and resolve production defects.
- Prepare and maintain technical, configuration, and user documentation and collaborate with the technical team throughout development and sustainment.
Required Years of Experience (min) :
- Minimum of eight years of relevant application development or programming experience, including recent hands-on experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
Required Degree/Certifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. An equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and directly relevant professional experience may be considered.
Required Experience & Expertise in the following areas :
- Experience translating business and functional requirements into technical designs and application solutions.
- Hands-on experience developing model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Microsoft Dataverse configurations, including tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, and validation rules.
- Experience integrating applications with databases, APIs, custom connectors, or other enterprise systems.
- Experience testing, debugging, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise applications.
- Experience preparing technical, system, configuration, and end-user documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Power BI, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and application lifecycle management tools.
- Federal application-development experience; NIH or HHS experience is particularly desirable.
- Relevant Microsoft Power Platform or application-development training or certification.
Required Clearance :
- Background Check- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the Government system and logical access required for assigned duties.
