Job Description
Candidates must already possess an active Secret clearance to be considered.
Summary:
• Execute DoD RMF system accreditation processes, DISA STIG compliance, and vulnerability management across distributed and cloud-based architectures.
• Design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments with differing data protection and classification requirements.
• Assess operational risk and implement security solutions for integrated open source, COTS, and GOTS components.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Total Compensation: $252k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Create, review, and edit authorization documentation in accordance with federal and DoD security policies.
• Implement DoD RMF accreditation processes, manage POA&Ms, and navigate workflows using eMASS, Xacta, or equivalent systems of record.
• Apply NIST SP 800-53 security controls, control inheritance frameworks, and artifact generation techniques.
• Interpret and apply DISA STIGs and SRGs using automated security scanning tools and vulnerability management platforms.
• Support the design, security posture, and compliance of containerized and cloud environments utilizing Linux, Bash, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Maintain DoD 8140 compliance at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC).
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid work schedule with an average of 1-2 days per week on-site in San Antonio, TX.
