Job Description
Candidates must already possess an active Secret clearance to be considered.
Summary:
• Deploy and maintain cloud and edge infrastructure in AWS with a focus on Kubernetes and EKS.
• Automate deployments, continuous integration, and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, and Go.
• Manage Linux environments and integrate containerized applications alongside big data technologies across hybrid cloud platforms.
Qualifications & Compensation:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development and Bachelors in related field; or 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Total Compensation: $222k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS (especially EKS) and non-cloud edge infrastructure.
• Automate deployment pipelines and ensure high availability, scalability, and monitoring across services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and configuration management tools including Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop automation scripts and utilities in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment to integrate applications and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and administer Linux systems in terminal-based environments.
• Support integration with big data tools such as Spark, Kafka, NiFi, and Elasticsearch.
• Maintain an active Secret security clearance and DoD 8570/8140 compliance certification (e.g., Security+).
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid work arrangement with an average of 1-2 days per week on-site.
