MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in a technical, engineering, or related discipline or equivalent combined education/experience
Formal leadership experience leading a team of direct reports
Strong understanding and working knowledge of ISO9000 / AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
Previous quality experience with product life cycles including development through sales and delivery.
Experience with external and government customers such as DCMA, MDA, STORM, etc.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Advanced understanding of Quality principles.
Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material.
Experience in solving complex problems associated with the quality of products and with regard to quality owned processes (FAI, CCB, CAB, etc.)
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders.
Desired Skills
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
Advanced AS9102 Interpretation and application experience Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) technical experience
Experience managing diverse teams comprised of both hourly and salaried personnel
Strong understanding of product change schedules and effectivities
Experience in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

What You Will Be Doing
As the Multifunctional Quality Manager you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives, coordinating recruitment and training, and managing performance and resource allocation.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessment of team staff.
- Allocate resources, assign work, and maintain an effective business rhythm.
- Implement and oversee the quality management system and metrics program.
- Manage risk, opportunity, cost commitments, and that all financial responsibilities are met.
- Ensure product acceptance, delivery, and compliance with quality requirements.
- Ensure appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements.
- Drive business improvements into current programs and functional areas, including overseeing the technological innovations activities
- Ensure that effective preventive and corrective strategies are defined and executed
- Support quality leadership team in implementing strategy and quality assessment processes resulting in timely delivery of compliant processes presented to customers (both internal and external).
- In order to perform required tasks overtime (that is time worked in excess of a 40 hour work week) may be required at the discretion of management.
