Job Title: MAT Ramp: Senior Mechanical Engineer (TEST EQUIPMENT) - P3
Location: Tucson, AZ 85756
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $78/hr on W2
Note: Active Secret clearance to start
Job Summary:
The Senior Mechanical Engineer - Test Equipment role at Raytheon involves leading the design, development, documentation, and maintenance of advanced mechanical test systems for Raytheon effector products. This includes creating innovative solutions for production testing environments such as vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical systems.
The role requires expertise in mechanical design, CAD modeling (ProE/CREO Parametric), geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis, and configuration management. By integrating and validating test systems to meet stringent performance and reliability standards, the Senior Mechanical Engineer contributes to delivering cutting-edge solutions that support Raytheon's mission to create a safer, more secure world.
