Responsibilities - Lead the end-to-end design, integration, and testing of advanced undersea hardware systems - Translate customer requirements into innovative technical solutions within project scope, schedule, and cost constraints - Drive concept development, technical planning, and problem-solving efforts for complex mechanical challenges - Collaborate cross-functionally to develop robust engineering processes, procedures, and manufacturing documentation - Support small- to medium-scale production, ensuring quality and manufacturability of hardware designs - Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project milestones Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Ocean Engineering, or related STEM field - Minimum of 5 years' experience for Principal Engineers; 8 years for Senior Principal (Master's and PhD equivalents considered) - Demonstrated expertise in hardware design and design for manufacturing (DFM) - Proficiency with engineering design, production, analysis, and office tools - Strong problem-solving and technical planning capabilities - Ability to work onsite in Annapolis, MD (9x80 A schedule) - Active U.S. Government Secret clearance (with ability to attain TS/SCI and CI polygraph) - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills - Siemens NX - Teamcenter - GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) - Experience with undersea vehicle and system design - Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph - Experience in fast-paced, multi-project environments Benefits - Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package - Opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge defense and naval projects - Collaborative, innovation-driven work culture - Career advancement and professional development support - Work-life balance with a 9x80 schedule How to Apply Ready to advance your career and shape the future of undersea technology?
