Koniag IT Systems, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a A/V Lead Systems Integrator to support KITS and our government customer Washington, DC. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

The A/V Lead Systems Integrator is the senior technical authority responsible for the design, integration, operation, and sustainment of CLIENT's enterprise audio/visual and conferencing capabilities across all CLIENT facilities. This individual leads the A/V team in delivering reliable, high-quality audiovisual experiences for CLIENT staff, leadership, and executive engagements, including conference room technology, digital signage, and executive briefing environments.
The A/V Lead Systems Integrator ensures that all A/V systems are properly integrated with CLIENT's enterprise IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365/Teams environment, and network fabric. This individual serves as the primary escalation point for all A/V-related incidents and engagements, leads A/V project planning and execution, and ensures minimal service interruptions across CLIENT's audiovisual environment.
This role requires deep technical expertise in enterprise A/V systems, strong project leadership skills, and the ability to provide responsive, high-quality support for executive-level meetings and engagements on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:
A/V Systems Design, Integration & Operations:
- Lead the design, integration, configuration, and sustainment of enterprise A/V and conferencing systems across all CLIENT facilities
- Manage and maintain conference room technology, digital signage systems, and executive briefing environments to ensure reliable, high-quality operation
- Oversee integration of A/V systems with CLIENT's enterprise IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, network connectivity, and endpoint management
- Lead planning and execution of A/V infrastructure upgrades, refreshes, and new installations
- Develop and maintain A/V system architecture documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
- Evaluate emerging A/V technologies and recommend solutions that align with CLIENT's enterprise environment and mission needs
Executive & Priority Event Support:
- Provide direct, hands-on support for executive-level meetings, briefings, and high-priority events, ensuring seamless A/V performance
- Coordinate with CLIENT leadership, executive staff, and event coordinators to understand requirements and prepare A/V systems in advance of scheduled engagements
- Serve as the on-site technical lead for executive briefing center operations and high-visibility events
- Maintain on-call availability outside core business hours to support executive engagements and priority events as needed
- Develop and execute pre-event testing and validation procedures to minimize the risk of service interruptions
Incident Management & Escalation:
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all A/V-related incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Diagnose and resolve complex A/V system failures, integration issues, and performance problems independently
- Coordinate with network, Microsoft infrastructure, and NOC teams to resolve cross-domain A/V incidents
- Manage the A/V incident lifecycle in the Government ITSM platform, ensuring accurate and complete records
- Develop and maintain A/V troubleshooting runbooks, escalation procedures, and knowledge base articles
Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise A/V systems integration team members
- Assign and prioritize work across the A/V team in alignment with Sprint commitments and operational priorities
- Ensure team members are cross-trained and capable of supporting all A/V functions to maintain coverage continuity
- Conduct quality reviews of team members' work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of A/V team personnel
Microsoft Teams & Collaboration Platform Integration:
- Lead integration and administration of Microsoft Teams Rooms and related conferencing technologies across CLIENT facilities
- Coordinate with the Microsoft Infrastructure team to ensure proper configuration, licensing, and management of Teams-based A/V endpoints
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of Microsoft Teams-related A/V issues in collaboration with the Microsoft Infrastructure team
- Stay current on Microsoft Teams Rooms updates, features, and best practices, applying improvements to CLIENT's environment as appropriate
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on enterprise A/V systems integration and operations experience
- Demonstrated experience designing, integrating, and managing enterprise-scale A/V environments, including conference room technology, digital signage, and executive briefing systems
- Proven experience supporting executive-level engagements and high-visibility events in a professional environment
- Experience integrating A/V systems with Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise collaboration platforms
- Experience in a Federal or private-sector enterprise environment of comparable scale, complexity, and security posture
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising A/V technical teams
Technical Expertise:
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Enterprise A/V system design, integration, and operations
- Conference room technology (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Poly, Cisco, Logitech)
- Digital signage systems and management platforms
- Executive briefing center design and operations
- Microsoft Teams Rooms configuration and management
- A/V over IP technologies and transport protocols
- Display technologies (LED, LCD, projection systems)
- Audio systems (DSP configuration, microphone arrays, speaker systems)
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Enterprise network fundamentals relevant to A/V systems (VLANs, QoS, multicast)
- Microsoft 365 and Teams administration as it relates to A/V endpoints
- ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
- IT security principles applicable to A/V systems
- ITIL 4 change and incident management practices
Required Certifications (Must be current and unexpired throughout performance):
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) - AVIXA (required)
- CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist - Installation) (required)
- CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist - Design) (strongly preferred)
- Additional preferred certifications:
- Crestron Certified Programmer or equivalent manufacturer certification
- Microsoft Teams Rooms certification or equivalent
- Extron Control Professional certification
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
