Standard Job Description
The Program Manager will lead the end-to-end development of digital electronics for the IGNITE edge processing portfolio. A program manager on our team will typically lead one or more CCA or entire box development efforts through technology readiness levels (TRL) 0 to 6+ and Mission Classes A, B, C or D. This role is responsible for defining program strategy, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules, budgets, and risk, and ensuring that deliverables meet performance, cost, and schedule objectives in support of advanced mission-critical systems.
Program Leadership - Define, execute, and own the program roadmap for digital electronics hardware, from concept through production.
Cross-Functional Coordination - Partner with systems engineering, firmware, software, mechanical, test, procurement, and subcontracts teams to align requirements and meet program milestones.
Schedule & Budget Management - Develop and maintain detailed master schedules, resource plans, and budgets; track progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
Risk & Issue Management - Identify technical and programmatic risks, implement mitigation strategies, and communicate status to senior leadership.
Technical Oversight - Provide guidance on architecture, component selection, PCB design, signal integrity, and thermal management; ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
Stakeholder Communication - Prepare and deliver regular status briefings, performance metrics, and executive dashboards.
Supplier & Contract Management - Lead supplier selection, qualification, and performance monitoring for parts, sub-assemblies, and manufacturing.
Configuration & Change Control - Enforce PLM processes, manage baselines, and control documentation throughout the product life cycle.
Team Development - Mentor junior engineers and program staff; foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors or higher degree in an Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in digital electronics or related industry
- Project Management Experience
- Demonstrated Control Account Manager (CAM) experience, including managing program budgets, schedules, and resource
- Demonstrated experience in working with multiple functions and disciplines such as engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

- Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and the ability to use EVM metrics to track program performance, identify trends, and make corrective actions when necessary.
- Demonstrated experience with Risk and Opportunity Management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks, and capitalizing on program opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and budgets, and the ability to use IMS and budget data to track program performance, identify trends, and make corrective actions when necessary.
