Overview
FTI is seeking a Data Analyst to support equipment readiness reporting and command maintenance program health for the Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) project in Suffolk, VA. The analyst will work hand-in-hand with the NAVIFOR 3-M Program Manager to act as a subject matter expert for enterprise equipment Configuration Data Management Systems (Enterprise Resource Planning, Configuration Data Management Database - Open Architecture, and other associated Department of Defense systems, as required). The position is primarily remote; however, the candidate must be available to work onsite at Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) in Suffolk, VA, as directed by the NAVIFOR 3-M Program Manager or designated Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). Onsite support may be required for activities such as team collaboration in a secured space, coordination meetings, Government-furnished equipment maintenance (e.g., laptop updates), and other mission requirements. The frequency of onsite work may vary from none to five days per week based on Government needs.

Responsibilities
- Data Management and Integration
- Utilize the JUPITER Data Environment within the Advana platform to integrate, manage, and analyze Navy readiness data.
- Integrate data from multiple sources by performing data cleansing, transformation, standardization, and modeling.
- Manage activity-specific data models and leverage SBIR technologies to improve data processing, integration, and dissemination.
- Conduct statistical analysis and interpretation of maintenance and readiness data from multiple systems.
- Data Analysis and Decision Support
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to develop reports, dashboards, visualizations, and decision-support products for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify trends, performance metrics, and readiness indicators, and provide recommendations to improve equipment readiness and operational performance.
- Perform quantitative analyses of financial, materiel, inventory, and readiness data to support risk management, resource forecasting, cost studies, and procurement planning.
- Readiness Systems Support
- Provide analytics, reporting, data reconciliation, and standardization across Navy readiness and maintenance systems, including AWN, MBPS, SKED 4.0, CSMP, Virtual Snapshots, DRRS-S, NRAS, NTIMS, NMET, NRRE, MMAT, and VSB.
- Technical Tools
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Qlik within the Advana JUPITER Data Environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Office applications, and other data analysis tools to support reporting and data management.
- Provide technical guidance on data analysis, reporting, and data management best practices.
- Collaboration and Mission Support
- Support cross-functional Force Readiness initiatives and perform analytical assignments independently or within multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver virtual and in-person training to NAVIFOR and supported commands as required.
- Support mission-related activities that enhance Force Readiness objectives and organizational knowledge.
Education/Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret DoD Clearance.
- Bachelor's or equivalent graduate degree, or 4 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, with the ability to analyze complex Navy data, perform root-cause analysis, identify trends and insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations aligned with customer goals.
- Experience developing business applications and automated workflows using Microsoft Power Apps, including Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Excel Proficiency - data tables, formulas, etc.
- Dashboarding experience with ability to learn Jupiter, Qlik, etc.
