Job Description
The Digital Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and
integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications. The
candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware
designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe,
Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART. The candidate will be working in a collaborative team
environment.
This position does require US Citizenship due to the nature of work and the ability to obtain an
active clearance.
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements:
DoD Clearance: Secret
Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
1: Minimum of 2 years; experience 58-62/hr
Responsibilities to Anticipate: The Digital Design Engineer is responsible for the design,
analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for

***Qualifications You Must Have: Minimum 5 years of experience in the development
and design of electronics circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design
☐ Proficiency with electronic design and simulation tools across schematic creation,
layout, and signal/power integrity analysis
☐Experience developing and supporting complex, multilayer circuit card assemblies
Day to day Requirements -
☐Creation Analysis
☐Parts Selection trade studies
☐Architecture design – block diagrams, etc.
☐Schematic Capture Involvement with the Physical Layout process
☐Lab checkout integration of HW utilizing test plan and lab equipment
3: Minimum of 8-12 years experience 62-67
***Qualifications You Must Have: **** Minimum 8 years of experience in the
development and design of electronics circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit
design
- Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to
development of a complete hardware design, and verification via test and integration
- Experience with PCB design process and expertise in tools used to design (schematic
capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution.
☐Background in developing complex, multilayer circuit card assemblies and applying
design constraints
☐ Familiarity with software or FPGA development and leading programs from
development into production
☐Requirements Creation & Analysis
☐Parts Selection trade studies
☐Architecture design – block diagrams, etc.
☐Schematic Capture Involvement with the Physical Layout process
