Job Description
Conviso Inc is hiring Senior Infrastructure SME for 100% Remote set-up position & comes with benefits, 401K & some accrued PTO. The Ideal Candidate will provide technical leadership for Azure cloud infrastructure supporting a federal environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the infrastructure workstream for the dependency-driven migration.
• Develop and maintain the target-state infrastructure architecture for Azure, Windows Server 2022, network segmentation, hybrid connectivity, security tooling, and disaster recovery.
• Establish the technical sequencing for provisioning, hardening, application installation, identity integration, network configuration, testing, cutover, rollback, and operational handoff.
• Lead inventory and dependency analysis across servers, applications, middleware, databases, interfaces, certificates, network paths, and external services.
• Direct implementation of Azure subscriptions, production and non-production trust boundaries, segmented VNets and subnets, route tables, network security controls, hybrid routing, DNS, and administrative access.
• Lead or oversee Azure Site Recovery design, configuration, recovery testing, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate installation and configuration of middleware, runtime dependencies, and supporting services.
• Guide TLS 1.3 implementation, certificates, endpoint validation, encrypted communications, and remediation of deprecated configurations.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, Database, Development, ICAM/eAuth, DNS, Akamai, DMZ, and other stakeholders to resolve cross-functional dependencies.
• Provide technical direction during CCB reviews, readiness assessments, maintenance-window planning, implementation events, and issue escalations.
• Ensure that implementation activities preserve application functionality, monitoring visibility, administrative access, backup and recovery, and operational support.
• Review technical documentation, runbooks, configuration records, test evidence, rollback plans, and handoff materials for completeness and quality.
• Provide status, risk, dependency, and decision reporting to project leadership and the COR.
Required Qualifications
• Recommended minimum of eight years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, systems integration, or technical delivery leadership.
• Demonstrated experience leading Azure infrastructure implementations involving subscriptions, virtual networks, hybrid connectivity, security controls, and governance.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, enterprise application hosting, middleware, certificates, DNS, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience designing or implementing network segmentation between production and non-production environments.
• Experience with disaster recovery architecture, Azure Site Recovery, recovery testing, and operational readiness.
• Demonstrated experience with change control, implementation planning, risk management, issue escalation, and technical quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting federal or regulated environments and ATO-related technical reviews.
• Azure architecture certification, such as AZ-305, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with OpenText or comparable enterprise systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure SQL Managed Instance, customer-managed keys, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience managing technical delivery within formal CCB and maintenance-window processes.
