This position requires an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Program Manager for SBIRS Ground Modernization projects and the Australian Data Distribution Network. These projects are part of the SPICE program which executes SBIRS Missile Warning Operations, Sustainment and Modernization. The SBIRS Ground Modernization PM will directly support the SPICE PM and be responsible for all modernization project cost, technical, and schedule baselines. This includes existing SBIRS modernization projects and strategy development for future modernization growth. In addition, this role is responsible for managing risks and opportunities, change and quality management, and strategic initiatives related to the scope. In addition, the PM participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements. Acts as primary customer contact for SBIRS modernization project activities.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
  • Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
  • Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.


Basic Qualifications

- EVM/Cost management experience

- Program/Project Engineer experience

- Experience working with DoD customers

- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Desired Skills

- Experience working with the Operations and Sustainment lifecycle

- CAM experience

- Active SCI clearance or completed investigation

- International experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
