Standard Job Description
Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Deputy Manager to oversee execution of hardware-centric Configuration Data Management (CDM) activities (Change Board, Records Release, Data Management and Configuration Status Accounting) for JASSM and LRASM programs. As an Engineering and Technology (E&T) Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the technical execution of CDM efforts on multiple JASSM and LRASM contracts, as well as management and development of there team. In addition to supporting departmental initiatives, driving technical execution and affordability efforts, the candidate will be responsible for providing technical coaching and mentoring, continuous feedback and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.
Basic Qualifications
* Active Top Secret clearance with current 5-year investigation, or active Secret clearance with current 5-year investigation with the ability to gain a Top Secret clearance.
* Experience managing technical projects/personnel
* Configuration Data Management experience in support of the Department of War.
* Experience and understanding of the principles and requirements for CDM (Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Audits and Reviews, Records Release, and Data Management).
* Familiarity with marking, formatting and handling of unclassified and classified documentation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
