Job Description:
Global Sustainment (GS) functional and program Lead for the Tactical Missiles AME programs as well as overall lead for all personnel assigned to the Logistics and Sustainment Operations Center (LSOC) facility. Position is responsible for the technical excellence of products and services and to ensure the GS team achieves all program milestones on time and within budget. Position is responsible for providing program support, proposal support and new business initiatives. Ensures technical integrity of the functional products through sustainment program phase. Knowledge of LSOC standard operating procedures development.
Responsible for depot inventory management and warehouse organization. Direct Leader for the Precision Fires team as well as indirect leader for IAMD team within the LSOC.
Plans, organizes, develops, and integrates program assigned functional efforts.
Implements functional processes, methods, and practices on assigned programs.
Participates in requirements development for GS scope of work.
Participates in technical and programmatic reviews and meetings.
Interfaces with customers and program office for area of responsibility.
Supports the program's System Engineering Integration Team and Integrated Product teams for functional discipline.
Ensures that off-program peer reviews are conducted to assure technical excellence of work products.
Participates in reviews or provides guidance and counsel to programs and management in area of technical expertise.
Maintains an understanding of projects supported by assigned personnel.
Assists program to understand and define tasks and skills/experience required to perform tasks.
Provides timely communication and interface with functional and program organization.
Reports status of technical performance, schedule performance, and budget performance.
Responsible for managing functional facilities and labs that support program requirements.
Responsible for coordinating with facilities and support services related to LSOC operations.
Manages budgets for assigned functional products and functional task responsibility.
Evaluates proposal package for conformance to customer requirements and technical risks.
Responsible for ensuring LDMS database accuracy.
Responsible for managing and implementing corrective actions to ensure CWT and TAT metrics are achieved.

Knowledge and solid understanding of the principles and analysis of Logistics, Supply Support, Inventory Management, Packaging, Transportation, Depot and Field Support disciplines as well as general knowledge of Specialty Engineering (Reliability, Maintainability, Human Factors and System Safety), Technical Publications, Training, and Configuration/Data Management and how they interact with the other Engineering and Technology disciplines.
Earned Value and Risk Management knowledge.
The ability to lead LSE teams in a Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) manner and diplomatically exert influence on the business operations of the represented programs.
The ability to lead and manage the GS scope (technical, schedule, financial).
The ability to interface with Engineering teams to jointly solve difficult technical issues.
The ability to interface with multi â€Â"disciplined Program / Customer teams to achieve Program Mission Success (Production Operations, Contract Management, Subcontracts Management, Quality, Business Ops and Program Management)
Experience working IAMD and Tactical Missile Programs.
Ability to integrate additional program areas as LSOC responsibilities change.
Knowledge as well as experience working full DD250 process to include program specific through corporate requirements definition, and USG/Command interfaces.
Knowledge as well as experience with Capital Equipment company processes.
