Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Maritime Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drafts and develops Maritime Risk Assessment Plans and safety documentation for senior review and validation.
- Maintain detailed records of vessel safety certifications and facilitate communication between the prime contractor and insurance partners.
- Prepare routine reports on maritime risk metrics and safety performance for Mission Partners.
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for managing maritime pollution prevention and safety compliance.
- Facilitate the coordination of vessel inspections and ensure all maritime platforms are seaworthy and properly manned.
- Prepare risk status updates for inclusion in the unclassified document library and management portal.
- Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Safety, Business, or a related field (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
- 3+ years of position-relevant experience.
- Proficiency in maritime safety regulations and USCG standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- 7+ years of position-relevant experience.
- Experience with international standards for vessel berthing and husbanding.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must hold an active DOD Public Trust clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
