This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date). As a SCO MANAGEMENT TRAINING COORDINATOR at the GS-0301-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- The incumbent is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of the programs, policies, and procedures involved in managing pre-assignment training, including pre-deployment, in-service, and sustainment, of personnel (Service Members, U.S. Government Civilian Employees, and Locally Employed Staff) selected for overseas assignments in US Military Groups (MILGPs).
- The incumbent performs a variety of administrative, support, and management activities essential for day-to-day operations across diverse organizations and missions.
- Conducts training strategy and program development, creating comprehensive training strategies and programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Develops and maintain mechanisms to report global training and certification levels across all specialties.
- Manage the Security Cooperation workforce training pipeline by tracking certification requirements, coordinating course enrollment, and ensuring personnel complete mandatory training prior to overseas assignment.

- Formulate comprehensive, global training strategies and certification programs for the organization
- Identify workforce gaps, assess the global training population, and establish qualification pathways for Service Members, Government Civilians and Locally Employed Staff
- Evaluate complex budgetary requirements required to achieve full force certification
- Design advance tacking mechanisms to report global readiness and certification levels to senior executive leadership .
