About the position:

The Administrative Support Level III provides senior-level administrative, operational, and program support to the Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) Force Projection Directorate (FPD). This position performs complex administrative functions supporting medical logistics readiness, force projection operations, mission planning, and program execution.

The incumbent serves as a lead administrative professional responsible for coordinating office operations, supervising administrative personnel, managing workflow processes, and ensuring timely and accurate support to AMLC leadership and mission partners. This position directly supports Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS), Unit Deployment Packages (UDP), Medical Materiel Readiness Program (MMRP), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Medical Logistics Support Team (MLST) activities worldwide.

Key Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Leadership and Oversight
  • Lead and oversee daily administrative operations supporting AMLC FPD programs, projects, and mission activities.
  • Supervise, mentor, train, and provide guidance to Administrative Support Level II personnel and other assigned administrative staff.
  • Establish priorities, monitor workload distribution, and ensure timely completion of administrative requirements.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures that improve efficiency, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.

Executive and Program Support
  • Provide direct administrative support to Government leadership, program managers, and project leads.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, site visits, and mission planning activities.
  • Manage executive calendars, taskers, suspense actions, and correspondence tracking systems.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for administrative coordination among AMLC FPD divisions, external organizations, and mission stakeholders.

Data Management and Reporting
  • Oversee collection, validation, tracking, and reporting of data supporting program operations and readiness initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain databases, tracking systems, and management tools that support operational decision-making.
  • Compile, analyze, and present reports, statistics, dashboards, schedules, timelines, charts, graphs, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of administrative records and program documentation.

Correspondence and Documentation Management
  • Prepare, review, and quality-control memorandums, executive summaries, briefing materials, information papers, reports, meeting minutes, and official correspondence.
  • Ensure documents comply with Army Regulation (AR) 25-50 and other applicable Government standards.
  • Coordinate document staffing, routing, review, and approval processes.
  • Maintain official files and records in accordance with Army and Department of Defense records management requirements.

Process Improvement and Mission Support
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative workflow, information management, and business processes.
  • Assist leadership with special studies, data calls, strategic initiatives, and mission analysis efforts.
  • Support logistics readiness programs through administrative coordination, reporting, and document management.
  • Participate in organizational planning meetings and provide recommendations that enhance mission execution and customer support.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Public Administration, Logistics, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Four (4) to eight (8) years of progressively responsible administrative, program support, office management, or executive support experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising administrative personnel.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience managing records, reports, databases, correspondence, and administrative tracking systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of administrative management principles, office operations, and records management practices.
  • Ability to supervise personnel, prioritize workloads, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop administrative processes that improve efficiency and mission performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and official correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), Medical Readiness organizations, or Department of Defense programs.
  • Knowledge of Army administrative procedures, correspondence requirements, and staffing processes.
  • Experience supporting logistics, supply chain, readiness, or force projection programs.
  • Familiarity with Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS), Unit Deployment Packages (UDP), Medical Materiel Readiness Programs (MMRP), or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) operations.
  • Working knowledge of Army Regulation (AR) 25-50 and Defense records management requirements.

Security Requirement
  • T he individual selected for this position must be able to obtain and maintain all required Government installation access credentials and satisfy applicable background investigation requirements necessary for contract performance. This may include a National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) / Tier 3 (T3) investigation, as required by the Government.
  • Key Differentiator: Unlike the Level II position, the Administrative Support Level III serves as the lead administrative professional responsible for supervising personnel, managing administrative operations, improving business processes, and providing executive-level support to AMLC FPD leadership while ensuring the efficient execution of mission-critical medical logistics and force projection activities.

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Salary Range: $66,158.00 - $71,450.00
