Description:
This position is for an Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert to support critical national security programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in information assurance principles, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement information assurance strategies and policies
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on security controls
• Review and evaluate system security architectures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards
• Mentor and train junior staff on information assurance best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity
• In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800 series, FISMA, and other relevant standards
• Experience with common security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
• Strong understanding of threat modeling and attack vectors
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Clearance Requirement:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
