Job Description

Summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Supervisor to support security operations for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is responsible for overseeing daily security activities, supervising personnel, and ensuring access control, visitor management, alarm monitoring, and emergency response operations are executed in accordance with contract requirements and established security procedures.
  • The ideal candidate is a proven security leader with experience managing personnel, responding to incidents, and maintaining operational readiness in a dynamic environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead security teams, support mission-critical operations, and contribute directly to the safety and security of MDA personnel, facilities, and assets.


Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision for security personnel assigned to daily operational activities.
  • Oversee access control, visitor management, alarm response, dispatch operations, and circulation enforcement functions.
  • Ensure all security activities are conducted in compliance with contract requirements, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers and site leadership to support contract performance and mission objectives.
  • Supervise Security Control Center activities and monitor operational effectiveness.
  • Support badge administration and Common Access Card (CAC) administration programs.
  • Ensure personnel are properly trained, qualified, and prepared to perform assigned duties.
  • Monitor security operations and address issues that impact safety, security, or operational readiness.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and other security-related situations as required .
  • Conduct security inspections and assist with operational assessments and reporting activities.
  • Provide first response and initial assessment during medical, fire, security, and emergency situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Security , Law Enforcement, Management, or a related field and/or equivalent training and experience; OR Associate degree and eight (8) years of related experience and/or equivalent training and experience.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of management experience, preferably in a civilian police, military police, security, or related organization.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related operational environments, with six (6) years at the supervisory level.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in analytical decision-making, administrative leadership, and operational management.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of specialized experience in physical security, law enforcement, or related security operations.
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar leadership position.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, or federal government security contracts.
  • Experience managing Security Control Center, access control, or visitor management operations.
  • Experience supervising security teams in a high-tempo operational environment.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
  • Experience with electronic security systems, alarm monitoring, and incident response programs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of physical security operations, access control procedures, emergency response practices, and visitor management programs.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and team development skills .
  • Ability to assess incidents and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills .
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining operational effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and contract requirements.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to operational excellence, workforce development, and mission success.
