As a Systems Engineer Sr. you will directly help establish the technical solution and test overall system design.
- In this role you typically will, Ensure the logical and systematic conversation of customer requirements and how to test the solution.
- Use your excellent communication skills to work across the Lockheed Martin organization and customer to ensure an understanding of the solutions.
- Perform systems integration, test planning and implementation.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of the full systems engineering lifecycle
- Experience with test planning and execution with an understanding of interdependencies
- Experience in developing test procedures
- Active or current TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Poly.
Desired Skills
- Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
- Understanding of Aerospace technologies, Orbital Dynamics, etc.
- Familiar with Scrum and Agile practices
- Analyze and resolve complex mission problems
- Understanding of Engineering tools (i.e. Matlab)
- Understanding of Software Programing Languages (i.e. Python)
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
- Software Scripting
- Active or current TS/SCI security clearance with Poly.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
