Job Description
Position: AI & Data Strategy Program Analyst
Location: Washington, DC -- hybrid after initial ramp-up period
Job Type: 3-month Contract to Hire
Salary: Up to $120,000-135,000, based on experience
Clearance: Public Trust required (higher clearances welcome)
What You'll Be Doing:
Maintaining and updating an AI use case inventory across a federal department, coordinating with teams to track tools, flag duplications, and ensure accuracy
Preparing executive briefings, decks, memos, and talking points for senior government leadership including the CIO and Chief AI Officer
Facilitating meetings, capturing action items, and driving follow-through across working groups
Supporting intake and tracking of service requests and program activities
Conducting light market research on emerging AI tools and providing informed recommendations
What They're Looking For:
US citizen eligible to obtain a federal Public Trust
4+ years of experience in program support, project coordination, or federal consulting
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to manage trackers and build executive-ready materials
Excellent written and verbal communication -- polished, proactive, and professional
Genuine interest in AI and the ability to understand and discuss the technology without needing to build it
A self-starter who takes ownership and runs with minimal supervision after ramp-up
