Project Details / Mission Supported:
You will participate the end‑to‑end MILCON planning cycle—requirements intake, documentation, approvals, and execution oversight—while driving disciplined program controls (integrated master schedule, risk register, stakeholder battle rhythm, and briefings). You will author/own facilitate design reviews and decision boards; and translate facility choices into IT impacts so that construction milestones, commissioning, procurements, and activation windows are achievable. - Coordinate daily with DPW, USACE, installation leadership, facilities, and IT engineering to achieve MILCON objectives and enable mission operations.
- Resolve planning/execution challenges by leading scope, schedule, and risk tradeoff decisions and documenting outcomes.
- Establish and enforce a stakeholder battle rhythm; maintain artifacts and decision logs with version control.
- Own deliverables that directly affect mission readiness by integrating facility buildouts with IT dependencies and cutovers.
- Apply MILCON expertise and working IT knowledge (MDF/IDF layouts, network/cabling/power) to develop integrated schedules and cost estimates.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
Required Experience:
5–10+ years supporting Army MILCON with demonstrated DPW/USACE coordination and DD1391 authorship/ownership
Required Technical Skills:

Security Clearance Level:
TS/SCI with program access
Required Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional written communication; stakeholder management; disciplined program control; ability to translate facility requirements into IT impacts.
Preferred Skills:
PMP or DAWIA; prior Army or DoD civilian experience in MILCON; experience with USACE district processes and installation IT buildouts
Location:

Location: Alexandria, VA
Duration : 12 – 24 month contract
Onsite expectation: 100% on site
Clearance Level: TS/SCI
Salary/Pay range: $85 - $100 per hour contingent upon experience
