At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Software Engineer, a typical day will include the following duties:
Required Skills:
- Front End Skills: Salesforce, Single Page Applications (JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), jquery, jquery UI.
- Back End Skills: REST, Java, JDBC, Oracle Database.
- Build Tools: , git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java products.
- Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Routine.
- Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS).
- Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.
- Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance.
- Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications.
- Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Experience working in an Agile development environments.
Desired Skills:
- Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, etc.).
- Documented Experience with Jenkins, GitHub.
- Excellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL development.
