Salary: $100,000-$125,000+ DOE
Position Overview

Anistar is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Estimator to join a leading electrical and communications contractor in Austin. This position will support commercial and data center projects, developing accurate estimates and bids from project drawings, specifications, and RFPs.
What You'll Do

• Review RFPs, drawings, specifications, and bid documents to understand project scope and requirements.
  
• Perform detailed takeoffs, drop counts, and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
  
• Develop estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  
• Build estimates and proposals using Accubid Enterprise.
  
• Work with management to determine labor requirements, hardware needs, and project resources.
  
• Support the bidding process from initial RFP review through final bid submission.
  
• Coordinate with Project Managers, GCs, vendors, manufacturers, and end users to clarify scope, pricing, and project requirements.
  
• Attend bid meetings and site surveys and perform job walks as needed.
  
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and potential estimating risks.
  
• Work closely with the Estimator and Division leadership to develop accurate and competitive bids.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of low-voltage, communications, or electrical estimating experience preferred.
  
• Experience with Accubid Enterprise strongly preferred.
  
• Experience with structured cabling, fiber, data centers, security, or other low-voltage systems.
  
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  
• Experience performing detailed material takeoffs and BOMs.
  
• Understanding of labor requirements, material costs, and overall project pricing.
  
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
