Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Admin Support Professional / Executive Assistant to support Team Submarine at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC! We are seeking a candidate to directly support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Director of Submarine Programs (DSP) with professional administrative support. You will provide direct support to a Senior Executive Service (SES) leader in Team Submarine.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling of meetings and conferences for senior leaders (timing, attendees, location, logistic and security requirements, transportation, etc).
- Participate and support internal and external meetings and briefings. The Contractor shall Interface between Program Office and various stakeholders and respond to internal and external inquiries.
- Maintain liaison with high level staff in offices throughout the submarine enterprise and the greater Naval community and coordinate the resolution of issues for final Government approval.
- Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls, handing requests for information and data.
- Coordinate agenda items, plans and speaking points for various engagements for final Government approval.
- Prepare meeting minutes, setup conference room schedules, maintain leadership calendars, prepare correspondence, organize and handle mail, order supplies, file records, coordinate and update action items, update and develop briefs, coordinate document storage and inventory, and courier documents.
- Coordinate travel and claim submission for senior Team Submarine personnel using the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Maintain security protocol throughout office spaces including the proper disposal of sensitive and classified material.
- Resolve administrative problems and inquires deferring to the appropriate government POCs when difficult questions or issues arise.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience operating as a Senior Executive Assistant.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Department of Navy Experience: Prior experience supporting Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
- Executive Support: Demonstrated experience supporting Senior Executive Service (SES) or Navy Flag Officer personnel.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Calendar Management: Extensive experience with complex schedule maintenance and deconfliction.
- Autonomy & Judgment: High-level ability to understand SES priorities and independently decipher/prioritize meeting requests without needing to consult the SES.
- Work Ethic: Highly proactive nature with strong task and action item tracking capabilities.
- Clearance: Must be able to maintain a SECRET clearance during employment.
- Technical Skills: Experience creating and managing SharePoint lists.
- Process Improvement: Background or experience in Knowledge Management.
