Responsibilities
- Analyze, clean, transform, and interpret structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Develop data analytics solutions using statistical analysis techniques.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, charts, and visualizations to communicate data findings.
- Use Power BI and Tableau to create interactive dashboards and data-driven reports.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify business needs and define analytical objectives.
- Establish and monitor metrics and KPIs to support decision-making.
- Extract, manipulate, analyze, and visualize data using Python, SQL, R, SAS, or similar technologies.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline data analysis and reporting processes.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Present data-driven insights to clients, program leadership, and stakeholders.
- Ensure high accuracy, data quality, and attention to detail when working with large datasets.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in data exploration, analysis, visualization, or data mining.
- 4+ years of experience with statistical or analytical software.
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, R, or SAS for data extraction and analysis.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, metrics, and KPIs supporting decision-making.
- Ability to communicate analytical insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with automation and process improvement techniques for data workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, statistics, mathematics, IT, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating big data platforms and enterprise data sources.
- Knowledge of Power Apps or other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Familiarity with ETL, performance optimization, or data movement technologies such as StreamSets, Databricks, or Jupyter Notebooks.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Kanban, Scrum, DevOps).
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools.
- Experience supporting federal public health, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations.
- Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences.
